Mission Impossible

finally got my own personal laptop after working in the company for almost 3 months..for your information, the department I'm working in is consider as the most profitable department in the whole company, makes millions of income per year..however, it actually took them 2 weeks plus to set up a desktop for me with a 15 inch monitor and Pentium 4 processor...come one!! 15 inch monitor leh!! CRT some more!! not the usual LCD that you find sitting on your computer desk!! I'm a sales engineer and are expected to travel to the southern area of Malaysia often and my boss expect me to work without a laptop?? well~~good excuse for not getting any sales since I cannot provide a quotation for the customer during an urgent case XD

so here am I with the laptop that own by my previous Sales Engineer who resigned due to economy crisis last year, who more like been force to go by the company..here comes another problem, no doubt the laptop has better specification than the previous desktop with a Core 2 processor and a 1GB RAM, however it is running on the freaking Vista OS with just 1GB RAM which is the minimum requirement for the OS~~the palm rest are lousy and the battery doesn't even work!!

Hence, focusing back to the title post, I'm trying to revive the laptop battery as shown by many expert online by putting the DEAD battery into a seal plastic bag and leaving it inside a freeze for about 12-14 hours...

since I put it into the freeze in the afternoon, I had to wake up around 3am to take it out back =___= obviously, I'm half awake after taking out the battery and go back to sleep afterward..when I tried the battery tomorrow morning, the result are total failure~~the battery are still dead and not-chargeable..hence basically I just upgrade from a normal desktop to a portable desktop (laptop) that require power plug-in for me to use it..

WHAT'S THE POINT!!

need to go consult with my boss sooner or later to get a new battery!!
