MDeC Training

starting from 14th June till the 18th, 24 of the(or 23) "specially" selected student from both the Engineering Course and IT Course were involved in the job camp training conducted by MDeC which is sponsored by Info-Trek company...it is actually a 20days training camp but the first week is all on the communication skills which i think might be the best week of the next upcoming weeks. WHY? it's because we have a great trainer, Mama Walia =) her sense of humor and her interpersonal is what make the training program special and not as bored as the others who are only on technical skills...too bad we can only spend a week time with her due to the training schedule. If the sponsor asked me which trainer is the best, i'm sure that everyone including me will said is our MAMA WALIA!! love her =)

here are what happen during the training and some of the photo that are in sequence throughout the whole week

Day 1

First time meeting Mama Walia and our first assignment is to separate ourself into two person per group and we need to let our partner know our name, birthday date, hometown and favorite food..although most of us already know each other well enough after 4 years been in the same class but my partner is from the Software Engineering course, so get to meet new friend on the first day already =)

after everyone has presented, we start out lecture =P

just before going to lunch, we played another game called Chinese Whisper whereby Mama Walia whisper to the first person (Jason) and that person whisper to another person and see what message reaches the last person XD

there will be three sentences (p/s: ppl if i got it wrong please leave a comment and let me know)

2. I am a smart student
3. I gonna be successfully in the future

somehow the "handsome" word was added in right after i pass it to Wilson..so the main culprit is Wilson XD

then we had our lunch break before continuing the lecture...

after the lunch break and a few lecture, we played another game called "Shuriken" (if i remember the game name correctly)

basically, there will be paper inside the box and each paper contain a famous movie or song name. The person are suppose to act out the movie or song and let his/her group member guess the answer..

at the end of the day, we had another game that are similar to rock paper and scissor game but instead we uses human body to play and the term has changed a bit..

we were separated into two group and the best of three game wins XD
